Quickstart#

Before getting started#

Read the safety instructions from the manual Safety instructions.

Preparations#

Note

Needed items are:

  • Computer with windows 10 or newer.

  • Ethernet network connection (RJ-45).

  • Network patch cable (ethernet).

  • Power supply (24VDC / min. 1A).

Package contents#

Check the contents of the package:

  • FX-3000-X.

  • Connection terminal block.

  • Wi-Fi antenna.

  • Power & BUS-connector for DIN-rail mounting + terminal connector.

Installation#

Connecting and powering up the device.

  1. Insert connection terminal block [PICTURE]

  2. Connect the Wi-Fi antenna [PICTURE]

Warning

Electrical shock hazard. Risk of injury or even death from electric shock during service/installation work. Make sure that the power supply is not connected / Check that the equipment and connections are potential free before performing service/installation work.

  1. Connect power supply wires to the terminal block. [PICTURE]

  2. Connect ethernet cable between computer and “LAN 1” connector. [PICTURE]

  3. Connect power supply.

  4. Check that the indicator LED’s light up on the network ports. [PICTURE]

Troubleshooting#

If indicator lights do not light up, Check the power supply connection.

Logging in#

Open the network settings on your computer.

  1. Set the IP address for the ethernet port connected to the FX-3000-X to 192.168.11.5

  2. Open a web browser on your computer (e.g. Edge, Chrome, Firefox)

  3. Go to address 192.168.11.1 (FX-3000-X default IP-address)

  4. Log in using factory default credentials [PICTURE]

    • Username: System

    • Password: 24680
