Measurements#
Measurements can be used to measure value of sensor connected to AI module, count impulses from contact in DI module, display a value controlled by IEC program, display value controlled manually and run time counter.
Point info#
Pointname: Unique name for the point inside the FX-controller. Any other point cannot have the same name.
Description: Used to describe the point.
Point levels#
Point levels are part of user rights management. Value is minimum user level to be view, set or program the point. If user level is under the value, they are not able to see, set or edit the point.
Point type#
The point type can be either local or global. Local is local to the FX-controller. Global is from another FX-controller.
Set value: Choice to separate measurements from user set values.
Counter: You can select if the measurement point is used as analog measurement type or pulse counter.
Local connection info#
Module: Physical modules modbus address.
Port: Physical modules port.
Point: Point number of the physical connection in module.
Global point#
With global point it is possible to read a points value from other FX-controller.
Controller: The name of FX-Controller the data is read from.
Pointname: The point name of point in the other FX-Controller the date is read from.
Point details#

Sample time [sec]: How often sample is taken. Trend holds 120 samples.
Analog#
Conversion table: Select table to convert raw value from module, to engineering units.
Offset: Insert a value to offset the measurement.
Time constant [sec]: The displayed measurement value will be mean value of this many seconds.
Runtime pointname: Select indication point to calculate the runtime. Runtime will be displayed in hours.
