AO points#
AO point can be used to send 0-10vdc signal from AO module, display a value controlled by IEC program and display value controlled manually.
Point info#
Pointname: Unique name for the point inside the FX-controller. Any other point cannot have the same name.
Description: Used to describe the point.
Point levels#
Point levels are part of user rights management. Value is minimum user level to be view, set or program the point. If user level is under the value, they are not able to see, set or edit the point.
Point type#
The point type can be either local or global. Local is local to the FX-controller. Global is from another FX-controller.
Local connection info#
Module: Physical modules modbus address.
Port: Physical modules port.
Point: Point number of the physical connection in module.
Global point#
With global point it is possible to read a points value from other FX-controller.
Controller: The name of FX-Controller the data is read from.
Pointname: The point name of point in the other FX-Controller the date is read from.
Point details#
Min voltage and Max voltage can be used to limit the output voltage of point to certain range. Example min voltage = 2 and max voltage = 7. The output would be limited between 2-7volts.
Min voltage: Minimum possible output of AO point.
Max voltage: Maximum possible output of AO point.
Default value in module [0-10v]: Select value for point if CPU’s communication is stopped for over 30 seconds. Selection Old value will keep the latest value. With selection Fixed, user can define fixed value that the point defaults to.
Trend#
Tolerance: Amount of change needed to the value until it’s sent to main PC.
Sample time [sec]: How often sample is taken. Trend holds 120 samples.
Picture: Select a process picture that will be opened when clicking graphics symbol on point settings of this point.
